We opened a new division of the company. Monday was a 2 hour brainstorm on the name. Followed by a 3 hour brainstorm on the slogan. That afternoon we went straight to DesignCrowd and paid the premium rate to attract the better designers. We had about 80 designs come in over 24 hours. About 3 or 4 really stood out. 1 was brilliant. We emailed back and forth a bit and within 48 hours of having no name, slogan or logo, we had it all. We downloaded the files in EPS format and some Photoshop versions, approved the payment and we were all done. I could not have done this as quickly or economically with my limited Illustrator design skills.

I had heard about logo crowdsourcing sites but had not required their services until recently. I was referred to DesignCrowd by someone who had used them and Im glad they did. The process went much smoother than expected and I received almost 300 designs in less than two days. That was critical as I had a short deadline to get this logo to the printers.
